My shovel.....
Last winter, I made sure I had a nice bike to ride for the summer,
quickly stripped down the '79 FLH I just bought, turned it into a cheap ass ride.
Spend all summer riding the shit out of it and in the meantime learned how to work on it (well at least I learned how to solve all the little problem I encountered while being on the road)
Had lots of fun with it, and last weekend while the weather was great over here I took it for a final spin around town.
one more afternoon of fun before the bike goes back into the garage to spend next winter building her the proper way.
deadline is set for april 2009 so she can shine in full glory on the next SINS show.

SPEEDFEST
This is one damn loud line up...but what else to expect from Hollands' very own Peter Pan Speedrock.
These guys put up one helluva show out there in Rock City Eindhoven.
Besides the bands there's also a great car & bikeshow hosted by Trashers cc from Eindhoven

Went to a nice little meeting this afternoon...
The VonWood Openhouse in Helmond (Holland)
Always great fun going there, no different this time...
didn't take too many pictures, spent the afternoon talking to some great folks...
Took out the 61 starliner for a drive overthere...good times too, smooth cruising, guess now it is about time to put her on blocks and start tearing her down...
the one shot I post here is one of Limpe ready to ride the shit out of his fresh XS chop...
good to see him smiling from ear to ear! Have fun Limpe!!!

Rockabillyday...
Last weekend we had some good times at the Rockabilly Day Weekender here in Belgium...
Only got as far as my own booth, working all sunday, but what a fun day it has been.

My shovel...
Some shot's of my shovel in Bottrop last Juin...
along with some other great bikes such as FD's Pan, Heino's Shovel and Marc's Knuckle.
made the trip with some friends from the OSC forum...enjoyed a great ride in great company.
Limpe (yes him again...) also joined us and shot some killer riding pics.
When we arrived at the Bottrop Kustom Kulture show, apparently we were noticed.
Floris Veldhuis shot some nice pics and these are now in the newest Bigtwin issue.
Thanx to Floris for the great comments...only thing... my bike isn't from Holland...it's a Belgian Hardass!
and also this: the scans of the pages came from the FDPhoto blog

Just finished (well most of it for now) painting Limpe's chopper...
He just build his own "Thing" not caring about any style or direction it went...
he basicly build this neat XS to his own ideas and thoughts...
He then gave me complete freedom in design and paint, for wich I thank him dearly even though it was a bit of a hard road ;-)
after talking some on different occasions, I got a pretty good idea of why and how Limpe build this bike. For me and hopefully also for Limpe this comes shining through the paint.
