Tribute to "master" Blaster!

If it wasn't for this guy from Italy, I think I would have already given up on pinstriping...he helped me to overcome some of my earliest mistakes and flaws and has continued to inspire me with his work up untill today.
Had the pleasure of working side by side with Blaster for several times and hope to be able to meet up with him in the future...
You just gotta love him for what he does and because he's just an alround nice guy!

Last week I started this new paintjob...
here's a glimpse of what has yet to come...more progress next week or so!

ECKW booth at the RPM

I took some samples of my paintwork to the RPM as well as my shovel.
One way or another people seem to be surprised when they take a closer look at the shovel, most of them like it a lot but expected a lot more work on the bike to look like this...
what can I say...It's Loud, Fast and Cheap, and I still got a long way to go before it will ever be finished.
For now I'm enjoying it on the road, where it belongs.

Tornados Rat Pack Meeting

Last weekend we took some of the Scrapers cars to the RPM organized by the Tornados cc in Charleroi...
We had a great day on the road and on the show...thanx guys for the invitation!

European Bug In 2008...

2 weeks ago I spend the weekend in Chimay for the European bug In...probably the most amazing Aircooled VW event in Europe.
Those guys really did a great job organizing this event...here's some of the pictures I made on saterday, sunday was working day for me so I spend a day in my booth doing some pinstriping and lettering jobs.

Shot this at our last clubnight...been around for a while, build by Bow, now in Wim's tender hands...
Drove this bike to Bottrop a few years back, felt like a dream because some years before that, I read an article about it in a Dutch Bike magazine and I clearly remember looking at the pics like a little child, eyes so big...mouth open...
Thanx to my buddies at the carclub this bike remains on the road and in my sight evry now and then.
