Well in fact, Guzzman is right, the custom paint design realy does the Van good...mind you, this is just a quickie workout of an idea that popped in my mind about a week ago...at fist made this one based on the blue color of the Dodge, but since a lot of bodypanels need to be replaced, the color will change to a red oxide welding primer...after most of the welding is done, I will start the fading and pinstriping, looking forward to this, but for now it's all about the search for part and panels...in need for 2 rear doors for the big Lady, Left and Right side with or without glas...also hinges and locks.

And it's Painting Time again...
been back to pinstriping again, been a while because of a whole different mindset the last couple o' months...
Starting again after some moths is always a bit harder, but we're getting into the flow of the lines more and more as we go...
Also some flake and candy jobs lined up for the newt weeks so stay tuned for more.
here's some of the latest works...

Finally was able to drop by Erik's new Bar, the Garage, at his house...
This bar is open to friends and Garage Maniacs forum members and is a mighty great hangout if you ask me.
Erik and Harry really made it work here! and many Maniacs already dropped by and left behind some amazing stuff to decorate the Place.
Besides the bar, there's also Erik's Shed in the garden (well...garden is the least to say...this dudes lives in paradise...) this is home to his ever growing stash of cool bikes, parts and overall weird stuff.
Erik and Angel also host the yearly Garage Maniacs party in their garden...about 40 to 50 dudes with choppers hanging round his place for a weekend in Mai... a yearly gettogether of the Freaks!
Thanks Erik for the hospitaly, hope to come again soon!
and of course our biggest support goes out to Angel for putting up with all those freaks dropping by ever so often.

Another Crazy week flew by...
maybe give you a little glimpse of it?
Here you go...deceided to take over the care for the Big Lady from my buddy Guzzmen.
this 76 Dodge Tradesman Van gonna be my new daily ride and my custom project at the same time...
but first things first I guess...got plenty of rust repairs to do on the body before we can bring her to technical control...after that...well we'll see about that when we get there...for sure hope to take her on the road before summer...

Wednesday Garage Nights at Keith's have been on my agenda like forever, but I didn't make it there untill a couple of weeks ago, as I already met most of the regulars on swapmeets and local events and quite a few have been friends for many years...well... I t's a shame I didn't make it there sooner, but like I said I made it finally and I will sure try to be there again soon! as these nights are ...well to say the least...great fun and very inspiring...
Great bunch of guys doing all kinds of different stuff but all with choppers as a shared addiction...just hanging out, drinkin beer and have a great time whatever happens, happens ...might be a wrechnight to help out a friend with some bike issues, could turn into a on the spot toilet seat photoshoot involving about 20 half naked greasy dudes taking a dump...then all of a sudden you find yourself droppin your pants in Keith and Aline's Dressing Room ...just to try out a fresh pair of Eat Dust (Keith & Rob's Denim Brand) and it ends with...well we'll leave that in the middle...Great Rum Keith!!! thanks for the many invitations...
here's a glimp...

Iphone... As you will see on this page, we got us a new toy...the infamous Iphone 4G 32...
Always considered this a gadget I had no need for, but ever since Dan Collins showed me how SWEET this baby is, my heart craved for one...
And now, thanks to a very generous man who wanted to sponsor our activities with some gear support, we are runnin' around shooting every day life with it! So to The Man...you know who you are...THANK YOU!!!
I know it's easy, very far away from traditional photography (wich I have been doing for the last 23 years) but I love it...
And It basicly enables me to do what I wanted to do about 20 years ago, I wanted to make pictures of my every day life using the old Polaroid SX-70 folding camera, but since I wanted to spread this over a period of one year, shooting several shots every day, it became unaffordable because of the film pricing...
now with the Iphone and the Hipstamatic App I'm able to reconsider doing this project...
and when I think about it...to me it has never been about what I work with, but more about what I make with it, the tool produces an image the way I look at it...and this tool does that in a very easy cheap way
here's some more lovely ones I've made with it so far...
