VONWOOD block party

Went to a nice little meeting this afternoon...
The VonWood Openhouse in Helmond (Holland)
Always great fun going there, no different this time...
didn't take too many pictures, spent the afternoon talking to some great folks...
Took out the 61 starliner for a drive overthere...good times too, smooth cruising, guess now it is about time to put her on blocks and start tearing her down...
the one shot I post here is one of Limpe ready to ride the shit out of his fresh XS chop...
good to see him smiling from ear to ear! Have fun Limpe!!!

Pinstriping ...#???

Rockabillyday...

Last weekend we had some good times at the Rockabilly Day Weekender here in Belgium...
Only got as far as my own booth, working all sunday, but what a fun day it has been.
in front of the booth are Limpe's XS chopper and my buddy Angelo's 26 T.

My shovel...

Some shot's of my shovel in Bottrop last Juin...
along with some other great bikes such as FD's Pan, Heino's Shovel and Marc's Knuckle.
made the trip with some friends from the OSC forum...enjoyed a great ride in great company.
Limpe (yes him again...) also joined us and shot some killer riding pics.
When we arrived at the Bottrop Kustom Kulture show, apparently we were noticed.
Floris Veldhuis shot some nice pics and these are now in the newest Bigtwin issue.
Thanx to Floris for the great comments...only thing... my bike isn't from Holland...it's a Belgian Hardass!

Limpe's chopper again...

Just finished (well most of it for now) painting Limpe's chopper...
He just build his own "Thing" not caring about any style or direction it went...
he basicly build this neat XS to his own ideas and thoughts...

He then gave me complete freedom in design and paint, for wich I thank him dearly even though it was a bit of a hard road ;-)
after talking some on different occasions, I got a pretty good idea of why and how Limpe build this bike. For me and hopefully also for Limpe this comes shining through the paint.

PS I can only take credit for the pinstriping, goldleaf and lettering...the beautifull candy green flaked paintjob was done by a friend of Limpe.

Nashville Pussy!!!

Tuesdaynight, Nashville Pussy played at a nearby festival...free gig, great summer weather...
purfect for a quick ride on the shovel...enjoy a wild show and head back to the shop to work some more. had to push to bike for the last km orso...couldn't spoil the evening!
